My recently-finished studio project for uni was about drowning (my choice, which has probably made everyone think I'm morbid...) Anyway, as I needed to paint images of someone drowning, or at least in water, I took some reference photos. They were never intended as anything other than painting aides, but I found that I really did like some of them and thought I'd share.
And on the topic of sharing, I'd just like to add that lying in water, wearing a ridiculously heavy, waterlogged dress and holding a camera above my head will not be on my "favourite things to do with my time" list anytime soon. I really need people willing to suffer for my art...or at least people willing to point a camera while I suffer.
On another note, deviantart it cruuuueeel to me and my poor dial-up internet. This is my third try at submitting this. Grrr.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
